Ceiling Fan

A silent ceiling fan cools without the noise of air conditioning and is useful all year round: in winter, reversing the direction of rotation brings down the warm air accumulated at the ceiling.

What makes a ceiling fan silent?

Three elements. The DC motor, which runs without the hum of conventional motors. The blade balancing, which prevents vibrations from being transmitted to the ceiling. And the low speed: a large diameter moves the same volume of air while turning more slowly, and therefore more discreetly.

Which diameter should you choose?

Count on approximately 100 cm in diameter for a room up to 15 m², 130 cm for up to 25 m², and over 130 cm for large spaces or open-plan rooms. An undersized fan turns fast and makes noise; when properly sized, it stays at a low speed and goes unnoticed.

Ceiling fan with or without light

Most of our models include a light source, which avoids having to combine two devices in the same spot on the ceiling. If you prefer to separate the two functions, choose a fan only and complement it with an offset pendant light or wall sconces.

For a room with high ceilings, a chandelier can take over in areas where air circulation is not necessary.
